If I am running 3700 watts of heater in total is there a distance maximum that I can go with my wire. I want to go to one heater with 2000w of heat and then to another with 1700 w. Do there have to be on different circuits or is one okay. Please only answer if you are sure. thanks

I’m trying to find out what the specifications are for adding electrical outlets to an attached garage. I’m going to be using 12/2 wire with a 20 amp breaker. I thought I read somewhere that all electrical outlets located in an attached garage needed to be GFCI. I’m also wondering if there was a spacing requirement from outlet to outlet as well as the number of outlets that I can place on one 20 amp breaker. If anyone knows of any online .pdf for electrical codes that would greatly help as well.
I have NEC 2008 but it almost useless!!! I mean finding answer to simple question takes forever and you might get two answers….. For example, I need to find out how many receptacles I need to install in my living room…. One every 6 feet???? I cant find it in the book. The language of it horrible. Damn layers wrote this book. IS THERE BETTER WAY TO FIND ANSWERS TO NEC CODE OTHER THEN MANUAL…. Thanks
